The Rookie Period constitutes the first weeks of your study period. It is organized by us at MDSU together with the program and student associations at the university, and is jam-packed with fun activities. The aim is for you to get to know your program and course mates and quickly get into the community.
This period is full of activities to suit everyone. Parties, game nights, hanging out with trade unions and competitions of various kinds are organised. Be part of everything – be part of something. You choose entirely yourself and are welcome regardless!
Rookie policy
If you participate in the rookie period, it is important to know that we have a policy document containing rules, approaches and policies regarding the rookie period and its participants. This exists to create a safe and welcoming rookie period for you as a new student. You can read the document here (English version starts in the middle of the PDF-document) , or ask your fadders or the student union if you feel unsure. Anyone who violates the policy risks being suspended from the rookie period.
