Council’s Spring meeting
Welcome to the Student Union Council’s Spring meeting on May 25th!
To get fika at the meeting, you must register in advance (by May 17th). You can register here.
If you don’t want any fika you can just come to the meeting, please note that the amount of seats is limited!
We want to invite all the ordinary members to the spring meeting and to participate, express themselves, and vote on matters in the highest decision-making body of the student union: the Student Union Council.
At the Spring meeting, we will address the following issues:
- Election of the union board, inspector, auditor, and the council’s presidium
- Business plan and budget
- Membership fees
- Revision of regulatory documents
We will also address any submitted motions if such exist. Here, as a student, you have a great opportunity to influence the student union’s activities!
To participate in the meeting, you need to be an ordinary member of Mälardalen’s Student Union. Being an ordinary member means that you are an active semester member, one-year member, or three-year member of the student union and are simultaneously enrolled in courses or programs at MDU. Supporting members and doctoral student members are not considered ordinary members.
You can give your power of attorney
If you cannot attend the meeting, you have the right to sign power of attorney to the students who will attend.
The power of attorney signing paper can be found here: Swedish / English
